Manitoba Nonprofits: Apply for Summit Search Group’s 2026 Pro Bono Executive Search Initiative.

Summit Search Group is proud to launch the 2026 edition of our Pro Bono Executive Search Initiative — providing professional executive recruitment services to Manitoba nonprofits at no cost.

Since 2022, we’ve partnered with inspiring organizations like 1JustCity, Volunteer Manitoba, Resource Assistance for Youth (RaY), and the Canadian Muslim Women’s Institute  to help them find the right leaders to drive their missions forward. To date, this initiative has supported leadership transitions across housing, youth services, sector advocacy, and community development organizations throughout Manitoba. This year, we’re ready to continue our support across Manitoba by offering our executive search expertise—completely free of charge.

As nonprofit organizations navigate funding pressures, workforce challenges, and evolving community needs, securing strong executive leadership has never been more critical.

If your board or leadership team is preparing for a senior leadership transition in 2026, we encourage you to apply! Applications are open until March 31, 2026. Let’s work together to build stronger teams and brighter futures.

Criteria for Eligibility:

Nonprofit and charitable organizations in Manitoba are invited to apply if they meet the following requirements:

• Seeking to hire a a senior leadership role (e.g., CEO, CFO, Executive Director, General Manager).
• Located in the Province of Manitoba.
• Registered as a nonprofit or charitable organization.
• Willing to publicly post the opportunity as part of a transparent recruitment process.
• Not currently engaged with another recruitment firm.

How to Apply:

To submit your application, follow this link and complete the required form. We will review organizations on a rolling basis.

All applications will be thoroughly reviewed by a panel of Summit Search Group team members who possess a diverse set of expertise. Reviewers will look to further understand your organization’s mission, vision, and values. Selected organizations will advance to a second round, where we’ll conduct phone interviews to learn more about your mission, vision, and team.
