I – About Summit Search Group

At Summit Search Group, one of the most powerful ways we express our “we’re all connected” philosophy is through meaningful pro bono service in the communities where we live and work.

Our commitment to community, philanthropy and volunteerism spans more than 20 years. Working together to bring about positive change, we donate our time and talents to those organizations in greatest need.

The introduction of a new leader to a non-profit organization has a significant impact on the community and environment and therefore the recruitment and selection process must result in a highly qualified individual who is the best possible fit for the organization.

 

II – Background

As we move into 2022 and reshape the impact we want our company to have on filling open positions with top talent, we want to know that we help under-resourced organizations to have the best opportunity to strengthen their impact in the communities they serve. Every year, the Summit Search Group Winnipeg team will provide a pro bono search for a local Manitoba non-profit organization. This initiative not only benefits the local community, but it provides a bonding opportunity for Summit Search Group consultants through the collaborative efforts.

Our pro bono clients will include charities and community organizations undergoing a leadership change without means to engage a professional recruitment firm.

 

III – Eligibility Criteria

Summit Search Group will be accepting proposals from existing nonprofit organizations who require the services of a Professional and Executive Recruitment Firm. Applicants must demonstrate the following criteria:

• Applicant organization must be looking to hire a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Ex: Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Executive Director, General Manager.
• Applicant organization must be located in the Province of Manitoba.
• Applicant must be a non-profit or charitable organization.
• Applicant organization must be willing to have the search named publicly and it must be pre-approved by the Board and requisite leadership.
• Applicant organization must not be currently engaged with another recruitment firm.

 

IV – Application

The application process will open on January 24^th, 2022. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until an applicant organization is selected.

All applications will be thoroughly reviewed by a panel of Summit Search Group team members who possess a diverse set of expertise. Reviewers will look to further understand your organizations mission, vision, and values.
