The Position:
Summit Search Group has been retained by Murray Chevrolet on the recruitment of their next Parts Counter Advisor. Murray Chevrolet has one of the largest GM parts departments in Western Canada which makes them one of the busiest parts departments in Winnipeg.
The Partners Counter Advisor plays a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and fostering strong relationships with our client’s partners. As the first point of contact, this position requires a proactive and knowledgeable professional who can efficiently manage inquiries, provide expert advice, and ensure that partner needs are met promptly.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of our client’s products and services, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a commitment to supporting our partners in achieving their goals. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of service excellence our partners expect.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers via in person, telephone and/or Internet regarding inquiries or follow-ups.
- Navigate digital parts catalogs for order processing.
- Field phone calls daily with accuracy and detail.
- Coordinate to fulfill both retail and wholesale account needs.
- Receive and check-in parts inventory to maintain inventory database.
- Other general support and assistance to the team as needed.
- Maintaining clean and professional appearance of the service counter, work area and parts department
Qualifications:
- ADP/CDK experience an asset.
- Previous knowledge of tires and accessories an asset.
- Experience Applying retailing techniques to sell parts and Accessories.
