As the Marketing Coordinator for western Canada, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and analyzing marketing, branding and advertising initiatives to improve the company’s corporate identity and branding. The Marketing Coordinator will conduct research to analyze customer behaviour, design and implement marketing campaigns and promotional materials and establish tracking systems for online marketing activities.
Responsibilities:
- Corporate Branding & Identity: Oversees corporate identity and branding initiatives to ensure consistency and alignment with company objectives.
- Campaign Execution: Develops and implements marketing and advertising campaigns to boost brand awareness; prepares strategies, plans, and promotional presentations based on sales forecasts and market analysis.
- Sales & Cost Tracking: Monitors product line performance by analyzing sales and expense data, contributing to profitability assessments and business development efforts.
- Reporting & Analytics: Produces regular marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales metrics to inform strategic decisions.
- Sales Support: Assists the sales team by providing key insights including market trends, forecasts, account analysis, and product updates.
- Promotional Materials Management: Coordinates the production and inventory of promotional materials, liaising with design vendors, placing orders, and verifying deliveries.
- Event & Trade Show Planning: Organizes and participates in meetings, trade shows, and corporate events by managing logistics, developing schedules, and maintaining stakeholder communication.
- Budget Monitoring: Tracks and compares marketing budget forecasts against actual spend to ensure financial efficiency and reporting accuracy.
- Professional Development: Stays current on industry trends by attending educational events and reviewing trade publications.
- Digital Marketing & Content Coordination: Manages digital content and assists in the execution of online marketing strategies, including social media and tracking systems for digital campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Post secondary education in marketing
- 3+ years’ experience as a Marketing Coordinator or similar role
- Experience with traditional and digital marketing tools
- Social media management, proficient in content creation
- Strong organization, time management and problem-solving skills
- Creative, insightful, and positive with impeccable interpersonal skills
- Adobe Suite and Microsoft Dynamics 365 product knowledge is an asset
- Data-driven, analytical individual with experience using data analytics software
- Computer savvy including experience with MS Office, Google AdWords and web analytics
Remuneration for this predominantly onsite role in Lacombe, Alberta offers a base salary of $55,000 – 65,000 with health and dental benefits and a profit-sharing plan.
