Journeyman HVAC and Refrigeration Technician – Summit Search Group is hiring on behalf of our client, a leading construction company headquartered in Beausejour, Manitoba. Established in 2009, the company specializes in large-scale commercial developments and remote projects across northern Canada. This is a fantastic opportunity for a licensed professional to join a skilled team delivering HVAC and refrigeration services nationwide.

The Journeyman HVAC and Refrigeration Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and Refrigeration systems for various commercial and industrial projects. Travel within Manitoba, Northwest Territories, and across Canada is a requirement

Key Responsibilities:

Install heating and air conditioning equipment and ventilation systems
Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment
Repairs to defective refrigeration and HVAC equipment and systems
Maintain jobsites, tools, and materials
Prepare written material lists as required
May be required to work at heights, indoors or outdoors, or in confined spaces.
Always adhering to safety policies, procedures, and practices.

Qualifications:

Possess a red seal in the Refrigeration and AC Mechanic – Commercial trade
Gas A or B ticket is an asset but not required
Experience in commercial and Industrial HVAC / Refrigeration installation and maintenance
Valid Drivers License
Working knowledge of all safety practices associated with the trade
Experience reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Demonstrates strong verbal and written communications skills
Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools associated with the trade
