Human Resources Supervisor

Position Summary:
The HR Supervisor (Operations) provides hands-on HR support across Canadian business units, partnering closely with field leadership to drive workforce effectiveness. This role leads day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, and policy compliance, acting as a key liaison between employees, operations, and corporate HR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational HR Leadership: Oversee HRIS, full-cycle recruitment, HR administration, and junior HR staff.
- Business Partnership: Support operational leaders with workforce planning, performance management, and succession planning.
- Employee Relations: Manage investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution while ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant practices.
- Field Engagement: Maintain regular site presence, build relationships, and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to provincial/federal laws, company policies, and audit/documentation requirements.
- Learning & Development: Support training initiatives and identify development needs across teams.

- Ability to multitask, work under pressure and effectively handle conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High standards of ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive information.
- Must be result oriented with a willingness to learn and advance.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in operational or field-based environments.
- Supervisory, leadership or lead HR experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience supporting multi-site or geographically dispersed teams is an asset.
- Proven ability to take initiative and drive results.
