Summit Search Group has been retained by Johnston Group for the recruitment of their next Graphic Designer. We’re seeking a talented mid-to-senior Graphic Designer with a diverse skill set to fill a key role in our Marketing and Communications department. You’ll create high-quality concepts and designs for various communications products and campaigns in print, digital, web, and video formats. You will also work with our team to ensure that our publications and communications materials are up-to-date and accessible while ensuring all materials adhere to our brand standards.
As a highly organized and detail-oriented team member, you’ll contribute to developing enhanced processes and systems within the department, including selecting and implementing a digital asset management platform.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Create compelling graphics and layouts for various platforms, including digital ads, banners, social media, presentations, brochures, e-newsletters, and printed marketing collateral.
- Develop, edit and/or oversee the design and production of materials used in various channels and mediums, including web content, video content, animations, infographics and branded merchandise.
- Maintain consistency in branding by ensuring all design elements align with company guidelines.
- Optimize website and digital content to ensure functionality, visual appeal, and positive user experience.
- Work closely with IT, developers, and external parties, providing expertise and guidance on design, brand, and communication best practices.
- Identify business process improvements and suggest ways to streamline or enhance procedures.
- Stay current with new and emerging design trends and the tools, software and platforms used to develop innovative multi-media content.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of graphic design experience
- Graduation from an accredited graphic design program 2+ years in length with a diploma or degree.
- Exceptional ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience maintaining a highly organized file management system.
- Ability to work closely in a team environment and self-motivated to work independently.
- Proficient in graphic design programs, and experience with digital platforms used to create, distribute and manage digital assets.
