Position:
Get ready to take the reins as the Ag/Farm Account Executive, where you’ll be at the forefront of driving exciting new commercial ventures, nurturing established client connections, and unlocking boundless growth possibilities. This role thrives on your proactive approach to generating leads, crafting strategic account blueprints, and seamlessly cross-selling a range of premium products and services. Your triumph in this dynamic position will be gauged by your prowess in cultivating robust client and industry relationships, all while surpassing company goals and propelling towards success.
Key Objectives:
Aligned with the brokerage’s brand compass, key objectives for the Agri-business Account Executive include:
- Prospecting and expanding the current book of business
- Identifying new market opportunities and communicating insights to management
- Cultivating strong client relationships and involving sales associates in the process
- Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to drive initiatives for new products and services
Responsibilities and Key Competencies:
In this role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Proactively prospecting and cultivating leads, including attendance at trade shows
- Negotiating coverage to benefit both the insured and insurer
- Actively pursuing cross-selling opportunities with existing clients
- Ensuring timely follow-up on incentive program referrals
- Managing client relationships within the assigned book of business, including VIP accounts
- Recommending optimal coverage and additional products to clients
- Collaborating with team members to meet client needs and company goals

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Level 2 insurance license
- CAIB designation or working towards it
- Minimum 4 years of commercial insurance experience
- Strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently under pressure
Working Conditions:
This position offers a remote-based work environment with occasional travel required. Candidates must hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license.
