Summit Search Group is proud to partner with Art Metz in the recruitment of an Account Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and highly respected contract furniture dealership supporting corporate, healthcare, education, and government clients across Manitoba.

With strong manufacturer partnerships and a collaborative internal team, the organization provides end-to-end project delivery — from design consultation through installation and post-project support.
The Role
Reporting to the General Manager, the Account Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and managing client relationships across a diverse commercial customer base.
This role combines business development, project coordination, and client service, requiring a relationship-driven professional who thrives in a consultative sales environment. The successful candidate will work closely with sales support, project management, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals
- Promote product lines and interior solutions to new and existing commercial clients
- Manage a portfolio of accounts and maintain strong market visibility
- Coordinate project timelines and collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate delivery and installation
- Provide ongoing client support and resolve project or installation issues as required
- Build relationships with manufacturer representatives, designers, and facilities stakeholders
- Maintain accurate documentation and sales activity tracking within internal systems
- Support marketing initiatives including events, showroom engagement, and social media presence
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development
- Experience in commercial interiors, construction, furniture, or design-related industries considered an asset
- Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM / ERP systems
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to market development
