Summit Search Group is hiring an Account Manager on behalf of our client, Direct Focus, a North American marketing operations firm headquartered in Winnipeg. Direct Focus is known for helping brands do more with less—integrating, automating, and amplifying marketing strategies to drive results. As an Account Manager, you’ll play a central role in managing marketing projects, building strong client relationships, and guiding cross-functional teams toward measurable business outcomes. What You’ll Do as an Account Manager:

Manage a portfolio of clients and drive revenue through account growth and solution delivery.

Work closely with a Project Specialist to ensure seamless project execution and communication.

Partner with your Account Director to align strategies, improve margins, and grow your book of business.

Build deep relationships with clients through insight, responsiveness, and value-added service.

Support strategic planning and ensure a strong understanding of your clients’ industries and goals.

Create trust and accountability within your team by fostering collaboration and communication.

Track, forecast, and deliver against revenue goals and project milestones.
What You Bring as an Account Manager:

Diploma or certificate in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or Business Administration.

3–5 years of marketing experience, preferably in an agency or marketing department environment.

5+ years in a leadership or client-facing role.

Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
-
Experience in digital marketing, customer service, or sales is considered an asset.

Strong budget management, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Proactive, organized, and motivated with an ability to work independently or in a team.

Passion for marketing, people, and—you guessed it—small talk.
