Summit Search Group is seeking a motivated individual to join Mac-Tower’s team as a Field Supervisor. The main role as the Field Supervisor is to be the mentor, leader, and initial support to the technicians in the field. Training the youth of the company to give them the best opportunity to succeed is what Mac-Tower Inc. sees as the most valuable role any employee can provide.
The Field Supervisor position is expected to have a major role on the growth plan of Mac-Tower Inc., and provide assistance in the continual adaptation of that plan as our industry is always evolving. The Field Supervisor is the person who loves teaching, supporting and wanting to see their peers succeed around them.

Mac-Tower Inc., based in West St. Paul, Manitoba, specializes in commercial HVAC, electrical, and plumbing services across Winnipeg, surrounding areas, Northern communities, and Ontario. Their team of certified journeymen delivers expert installation, repair, and maintenance solutions tailored to maximize system efficiency and reduce operational costs. From HVAC systems to boilers and towers, they ensure reliable performance and comfort for every facility they service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor and support the youth of Mac-Tower Inc.
- Supervise daily operations on construction sites and service calls, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Provide troubleshooting guidance over the phone or on-site to the technicians.
- Be available by phone after hours to the on-call technician/s.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Provide assistance in creating a company personal development plan for technicians.
- Collaborate with project team and Service Manager to develop work timelines, manpower allocations, and schedule planning.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents to guide HVAC/R and mechanical activities.
- Assist in HVAC/R, mechanical and service estimating by providing input on labor costs, materials, and timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of technician reviews and professional development.
- Public and customer relations.
- Assist in company marketing.
- Assist in the company growth plan.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the HVAC/R industry.
- Commercial and light industrial HVAC/R experience. Fuel-Fired Boiler experience is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes and standards.
- A very broad experience in various sectors of the HVAC/R industry.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Red Seal in either HVAC/R, Gas-Fitting, Electrical, or Plumbing.
- A positive attitude.
