Position Scope:

As the SVP of Technology, you will define and lead the company’s technological vision and strategy. Working closely with the executive team, you will develop innovative solutions to optimize content creation, delivery, and user experiences while ensuring operational excellence and cybersecurity. This is a critical leadership role with accountability for technology across all business areas and functions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a forward-looking technology strategy that aligns with the company’s business objectives and growth initiatives worldwide.
• Advise the executive leadership team on emerging technologies, digital transformation opportunities, and risk management.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the organization.
• Establish a robust technology governance framework to prioritize and execute key initiatives effectively.
• Oversee sourcing and deploying digital platforms, channel & content delivery systems, and enterprise applications to support the company’s production, content distribution and channels & streaming businesses globally.
• Drive the adoption of AI, cloud computing, data analytics, and next-generation tools to enhance operations.
• Ensure seamless, scalable, and user-friendly technology solutions that support operational and business needs.
• Establish scalable and secure technology operations with high availability and reliability.
• Manage the technology budget, optimizing investments to maximize ROI.
• Oversee vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and technology procurement strategies.
• Align workflows and strategic vendor usage across the company to avoid redundancy
• Lead broadcast operations for a portfolio of internationally distributed channels (cable, satellite and streaming), ensuring compliance with industry standards and high-quality live and recorded production workflows.
• Build and mentor a high-performing technology team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
• Drive alignment across teams through effective communication and change management initiatives.
• Develop performance metrics and development plans to encourage continuous improvement.
• Design and implement a robust cybersecurity framework to protect digital assets and customer data.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
• Lead responses to cybersecurity incidents and technical crises.
• Maintain a 3-year technology roadmap that aligns with the Company’s long-term strategy.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships with technology providers, industry consortia, and content delivery partners.
• Represent the company as a thought leader at industry events, fostering collaboration and innovation.

 

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing teams. Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships to deliver operational efficiencies.
• Proven track record in managing complex, multi-platform broadcast and digital operations.
• Expertise in AI, cloud computing, content management systems (CMS), media production technology, audience analytics, and cybersecurity. Deep understanding of OTT platforms, FAST/PAST channels, and social media broadcasting technologies.
• Expertise in industry best practices (ITIL, COBIT, Agile, etc.)

 

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 15+ years in technology leadership, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles within media or digital content organizations.
• Experience supporting a business in multiple countries
• Proven track record of working effectively with executives in a high-pressure environment.
