The Position:

Summit Search Group has been retained by Clear Point Surgical Toronto on the recruitment of an Assistant Clinical Director.

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the Assistant Clinical Director, is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and administration at Clearpoint Surgical Toronto-Dixon. The role will provide leadership to the facility Managers, OR Nurse Managers, and Clinical Leads to ensure a high quality of service, operational excellence between the multi-disciplinary departments and exceptional care and results for Clearpoint Health clients. The Assistant Clinical Director is a key pillar to the Clearpoint Health team and effectiveness of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Collaboration: Lead a dynamic multidisciplinary team, fostering staff participation at all levels in planning, delivering, and improving programs and services.
Quality and Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to staffing standards, patient safety protocols, and College requirements while promoting continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Strategic Growth and Financial Oversight: Drive strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, revenue growth, and profitability, while actively managing financial performance and reporting to stakeholders.
Physician Recruitment and Resource Planning: Collaborate with the Medical Director to recruit and onboard physicians, manage clinical equipment inventory, and oversee Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) planning.
Accreditation and Governance: Prepare for Accreditation Canada inspections, facilitate quarterly Quality and Medical Advisory Committee meetings, and safeguard patient confidentiality.
Education and Innovation: Promote staff development through educational initiatives and maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in technology and medical practices to support excellence in care delivery.

Qualifications:

Graduate of a recognized Nursing Program
Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN), in good standing with the provincial regulatory body of nurses
Completion of an accredited peri-operative nursing program a requirement with 3-5 years in the intra-operative environment
BCLS/ACLS Certified and PALS, if applicable
Minimum 5 years in a leadership role (e.g.: Charge Nurse, Specialty Coordinator, Practice Lead)
