About the Role
Reporting to the Drafting Manager, you’ll be the technical authority on vessel design and checking, contributing directly to high-value modular fabrication projects:
- Develop accurate and code-compliant 3D vessel models using CADWorx and AutoCAD.
- Produce detailed fabrication drawings and oversee vessel model accuracy.
- Review and approve vendor-supplied drawings; lead vessel checking processes.
- Mentor junior and intermediate vessel designers; maintain vessel drafting standards.
- Create and update standard vessel drawings and recommend process improvements.
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical alignment and project quality.
Your Expertise
- 10+ years of experience in vessel design and fabrication within energy, processing, or modular environments.
- Advanced proficiency in CADWorx 3D and AutoCAD (2D/3D).
- Deep expertise in vessel design principles and fabrication processes.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a continuous-improvement mindset.
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities; able to work independently.
- Passion for safety, integrity, and technical excellence.
