Technical Sales Representative – Mining and Mineral Processing (Remote)
We are seeking a results-driven Technical Sales Representative with expertise in mining and mineral processing to lead business development efforts in Western Canada and the Western US. This is a remote role that involves regular travel within the territory to build client relationships and drive sales of wear-resistant and engineered products for comminution circuits.
This is a Remote position and the individual can be located anywhere in British Columbia or possibly Alberta.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow business in mining, oil sands, and cement industries.
- Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers at EPC firms, maintenance teams, and production operations.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and proposal creation to contract negotiation and post-sale support.
- Conduct regular travel to engage with clients, deliver presentations, and support project implementation.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets while providing technical solutions to customer challenges.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of outside technical sales experience in the mining or mineral processing industry.
- Strong knowledge of comminution circuits and mineral processing systems.
- Proven ability to close new business and develop long-term customer relationships.
- A degree in engineering, metallurgy, or business (preferred) or equivalent technical experience.
- Knowledge of metal castings strongly preferred
- Willingness to travel extensively within Alberta, BC, and key mining states in the Western US.
