We are looking for an extraordinary employee to join their growing team in their Calgary office. This position fulfills the role of key contact to customers within the Alberta region. The Technical Inside Sales Representative will develop and foster relationships with customers as it relates to sales. Facilitating communication in all areas within the company is essential in looking after the customer’s needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to and processing incoming calls and orders
- Entering orders into system
- Developing knowledge base on current products and new products
- Providing quotations and product information
- Troubleshooting (freight problems, expediting etc.)
- Responding to inquiries
- Maintain excellent logs and conduct scheduled updates with the sales team
- Collaborate closely with and provide feedback to other team members to drive results and portfolio growth
Desired Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 2-4 years experience in an inside sales and customer service role
- Post-secondary education or diploma in a technical field is ideal
- Valve and valve maintenance (lubricants, sealants, fittings, pumps, etc.) is a definite asset
- A new grad from a technical post secondary program will also be considered
- A background in selling industrial and commercial products is an asset.
- Strong business and technical acumen and professional approach to offering effective services and solutions.
- Demonstrated proficient use of CRM AND ERP (Salesforce and SAP) is an asset
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office required
- Strong team player with the willingness to be involved in multiple aspects of the business
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean criminal background
- Must have a valid passport
