Technical Delivery Manager
Location: Northern British Columbia (Relocation support may be available)
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
An established, mission-driven organization is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of enterprise technology initiatives and oversee a growing portfolio of IT projects. This role sits at the intersection of technical delivery, stakeholder engagement, and operational leadership, supporting initiatives that directly impact service delivery across diverse and geographically distributed communities.
This is a unique opportunity for a leader who can combine project portfolio oversight with hands-on systems understanding, while working within an environment focused on long-term impact and community outcomes.
The Role
- Lead the planning, prioritization, and execution of a portfolio of IT projects aligned to organizational priorities
- Partner with senior leadership and program stakeholders to define business needs and translate them into scalable technology solutions
- Develop and present business cases, ensuring alignment with operational goals, budget, and long-term sustainability
- Oversee full lifecycle delivery of systems and applications, from design through implementation and continuous improvement
- Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, KPIs, and reporting structures
- Drive cross-functional collaboration, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
- Lead change management efforts to support adoption of new systems and processes
- Mentor and support a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
What You Bring
- 10+ years of experience in IT project/program management within complex environments
- Proven track record managing enterprise-scale technology initiatives and project portfolios
- Strong understanding of cloud and enterprise systems (Azure, Microsoft 365, or similar environments)
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and tools
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, resources, and competing priorities
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience leading and developing teams
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification considered an asset
