Team Lead, Sales

With significant market demand for office projects, our client is poised for substantial expansion across the Lower Mainland.
Position Summary
The Team Lead, Sales will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a collaborative, feedback-driven environment. This role will manage a personal book of business valued at approximately $2 million annually, while also supporting and mentoring Account Executives and Account Managers. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping quarterly sales strategies through team insights and market feedback, in partnership with the Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Coaching
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of Account Executives and Account Managers
- Conduct consistent 1 on 1s with the sales team to provide constructive feedback
- Facilitate team development through coaching, training, and goal setting
- Work with our manufacturer partners to setup consistent training and product knowledge sessions
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Facilitate quarterly strategy sessions informed by team feedback and market insights
- Collaborate with the Leadership Team to refine sales goals and priorities
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans with measurable outcomes
Sales & Client Management
- Manage a personal sales portfolio of approximately $2 million annually
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key clients and market influencers
- Support team members in complex negotiations and client escalations
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention
Operational Oversight
- Oversee daily sales operations, including pipeline management and CRM accuracy
- Monitor team KPIs and sales metrics to ensure alignment with company objectives
Market Engagement
- Represent our client at industry events and networking functions
- Maintain awareness of market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
- Actively promote the brand and values in all external interactions
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of consultative B2B sales experience
- Proven success managing a complex sales cycle
- Strong familiarity with the Lower Mainland design and facilities community
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Education
- Post-secondary degree or diploma from a recognized University, College, or Technical Institute
Work Environment
- Hybrid role with minimum 3 days a week in the Yaletown Collaboration Centre
- Company-provided laptop and mobile tools
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required for client visits
