About the Role
Reporting to the Drafting Manager, you’ll lead and execute piping and layout design across multiple modular projects:
- Maintain and update P&IDs; lead 3D piping and plant layout modeling using CADWorx and AutoCAD.
- Produce detailed fabrication isometrics using Isogen and generate complete GA drawings.
- Model pressure vessels and develop fabrication-ready details.
- Review and approve vendor drawings and lead 3D model reviews.
- Mentor junior and intermediate designers and maintain drafting standards.
- Recommend process improvements and support checking duties as needed.
- Collaborate closely with project, engineering, and fabrication teams.
What You Bring
- 10+ years of piping/layout design experience in modular or plant settings.
- Advanced skills in CadWorx 3D, AutoCAD 2D/3D, and Isogen spool generation.
- Deep understanding of plant design, pressure equipment interfaces, and fabrication practices.
- Proven ability to work independently and lead others within a drafting team.
- Strong communication skills and a continuous-improvement mindset.
