
Senior Financial Accountant

Our client is a well-established, growth-oriented organization operating in the distribution and supply chain sector. Due to continued growth and internal evolution, they are seeking a high-caliber Senior Financial Accountant to play a key leadership role within the finance function.

What You’ll Own
- Lead the monthly close process and deliver accurate, decision-ready financial reporting
- Ensure balance sheet integrity, complex accruals, and inventory-related accounting accuracy
- Drive improvements in reporting efficiency, controls, and financial processes
- Partner with operations and sales leadership to provide actionable financial insight
- Support and influence the annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes
- Develop KPI dashboards and enhance visibility into margins, working capital, and profitability
- Ensure IFRS compliance and maintain a strong internal control environment
This role requires someone who is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves and contributing strategically.
Who You Are
- CPA designated with 5+ years of progressive experience
- Strong IFRS technical foundation with experience in inventory-driven environments
- Confident managing month-end close with minimal oversight
- ERP-savvy with strong Excel skills; Power BI experience is a significant asset
- Commercially minded — you understand margin, cost drivers, and operational impact
- Proactive, curious, and comfortable challenging assumptions
- Able to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders
