Sales Representative – Industrial
Our client, an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of high-performance bulk material handling solutions, is looking for a Sales Representative to join their team in Alberta. This person will focus on maintaining and developing the business within all established industries by promoting the use of the company’s full line of products and engineered solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new relationships with project and maintenance managers and engineers, by calling on consulting firms, end users and EPC contractors.
- Service existing core customer base and strive to continually refine relationships.
- Work with customers to ensure specifications are interpreted correctly for quotation purpose.
- Oversee the sales process at each stage from prospecting to quote to manufacturing and follow up.
- Keep up to date on industry trends, technologies, and advancements.
- Liaise with other sales personnel to share contacts and potential business opportunities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably with specific knowledge or background in one or more of the following industries: industrial, ag, mining, aggregate, wastewater sewage, food & bev, process plants, etc.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- An understanding of the solution sell process is an asset.
- Ability to negotiate and strong presentation skills.
- Strong Mechanical aptitude.
- An energetic, go-getter attitude with strong work ethic and professionalism.
- Up-to 25% travel may be required.
Remuneration:
Remuneration for this role consists of a competitive base salary based on experience and skill set, bonus program, km reimbursement, RSP matching and a great benefit program!
