Our client is a leader in respiratory care offering innovative respiratory care programs that support patients with sleep disordered breathing conditions such as obstructive sleep apnea and snoring, as well providing patients with pulmonary function testing and home oxygen services to treat a variety of respiratory conditions. From the clinical teams, support teams, technicians, and everyone in between, they are passionate and care deeply about helping Canadians breathe easier and get a better night’s sleep.
In this role as RRT, you will enjoy the variety of providing both in-clinic sleep testing & treatment, as well as in-home oxygen services to clients in Lethbridge and surrounding area. This is a permanent, full-time position, working Monday to Friday, days only (with exception of some on-call duties for the oxygen business).
- In Sleep, you will educate and equip clients with the tools they need for sleep testing and successful therapy, while monitoring to ensure effective treatment. Your strong clinical skill set, combined with your positive attitude and personality are responsible for uplifting and impacting clients in an incredible way.
- In Oxygen, you will perform the initial set-up on oxygen for clients being discharged from a health care facility and perform regular follow-up assessments for clients on oxygen. With a role this important, there is an on-call component, so driving/travel is a requirement.
Qualified candidates have graduated from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy (Registered with CRTA) ideally with some field-based work experience, however extensive training will be provided. Remuneration is highly competitive and dependant on experience ranging from $41.00-$55.00/hour ($80K – $105K), annual profit-sharing bonus, and comprehensive benefits including health plan, RRSP matching, and three weeks’ vacation.
