Resource Manager
Summit Search Group is seeking an experienced Resource Manager to lead the external customer-facing Professional Services practice for our client in Saskatchewan. This pivotal role is responsible for driving profitability, managing vendor relationships, and supporting sales teams to deliver exceptional services to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership:
- Lead and manage the Professional Services team (contractors) to ensure optimal resource utilization, innovation, and teamwork.
Financial Management:
- Develop and oversee operating and capital budgets, ensuring accountability and financial control within the practice.
Customer Engagement:
- Maintain strong relationships with external vendors and partners to deliver services aligned with company goals.
- Oversee customer engagements, particularly involving third-party resources, to ensure success and satisfaction.
Sales Support:
- Collaborate with sales teams to provide guidance on the sale and delivery of Professional Services.
- Assist in creating strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Technical Oversight:
- Serve as the technical leader for the Professional Services portfolio, ensuring technical qualifications and quality assurance for sales proposals and contracts.
Analysis and Improvement:
- Conduct regular performance analyses and use feedback to improve service delivery and pricing models.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 10-15 years of relevant business experience in a professional services organization.
- Proven track record in managing delivery teams and IT talent recruitment.
- Expertise in developing customer proposals and contracts, as well as negotiating with vendors, partners, and consultants.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with business product and service offerings is an asset.
