Regional Sales Manager

We have been engaged to identify a Regional Sales Manager who will drive market expansion, strengthen channel relationships, and support the continued growth of a high quality, category leading product portfolio.
The Opportunity
The Regional Sales Manager will lead a defined territory with a focus on increasing market share by influencing trade professionals and supporting sales through key dealer partners. Working closely with the National Sales Manager, this individual will develop and execute regional sales strategies, lead a small team, and represent the brand across multiple customer groups including dealers, builders, contractors, remodelers, roofers, and architects.
This role is ideal for a hands on sales leader who thrives in the field, enjoys building relationships, and is motivated by developing others while driving territory performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute an annual territory plan focused on growth, channel engagement, and market opportunity
- Build, strengthen, and expand relationships with dealers, contractors, builders, and architectural partners
- Lead, mentor, and support the regional outside sales team to achieve territory goals
- Conduct job site visits to provide quotes, product recommendations, and technical field guidance
- Deliver professional presentations highlighting product value and application
- Train industry partners on proper product use and installation best practices
- Manage territory budgets to ensure profitable performance
- Complete CRM reporting, scheduling, prospecting, and follow up in a timely manner
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives assigned by the National Sales Manager
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new members of the sales team
- Support field service needs including installation guidance or product troubleshooting
- Travel to assist other regions, attend trade shows, and participate in training
- Host Lunch and Learns, product demos, and dealer events
- Conduct regular performance and program reviews with dealers and installers
- Provide support to warehouse teams as needed
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3 to 5 years of leadership and outside sales experience; building materials industry experience is an asset
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Proven strength in planning, prioritizing, and achieving goals
- Ability to build strong relationships with channel partners and end users
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Professional presence, positive energy, and a hands on approach
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work comfortably at heights
