Regional Sales Manager – Pharmaceuticals
Based in Calgary or Edmonton
Our client is proudly one of Canada’s largest and most innovative healthcare organizations and they are focused on improving the lives of patients with their vast portfolio of healthcare products in multiple therapeutic areas, coupled with their commitment to advancing health initiatives globally. They manufacture and market a broad range of products, including branded and generic pharmaceuticals, over-the-counter (OTC) products, and medical devices and hold a strong presence in medical practices, pharmacies, and hospitals across the country.
In this role your mandate is to coach and lead the sales and promotional efforts of your sales team (10 representatives) to ensure their achievement of goals and KPIs. This is a field-based management position (30% travel required) directing a team of Primary Care and Specialty Sales Representatives in accordance with regional and national marketing and sales plans. You will be an integral part of the national sales leadership team working collaboratively with like-minded, progressive thinkers with business savvy that lead by example, build trust and honest relationships, always empowering people to be their best and achieve their personal and professional goals.
Qualified candidates must possess sales team management experience within the healthcare industry, with a strong resume of professional accomplishments detailing relevant sales and business achievements. Compensation is commensurate with leadership experience including a salary of $140-$155K and a performance-based sales bonus plan with additional accelerators for over-achievement, company car and gas card, health benefits, RRSP matching, and all the perks.
