Regional Account Manager
Greater Moncton Area, New Brunswick
Are you a real go-getter looking for a new challenge with an exciting company? On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Regional Account Manager in the Greater Moncton area, New Brunswick.
Reporting to the Executive VP Sales/Marketing, the Regional Account Manager is responsible for further developing and managing business relationships with wholesale clients, including restaurants, retailers, distributors, and institutional buyers. This role focuses on selling value-added lobster products (cooked, frozen, and processed), maintaining consistent order flow, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale customers (restaurants, grocery chains, distributors, etc.).
- Actively engage in outreach and networking.
- Educate clients to promote and sell finished lobster products.
- Manage incoming orders and coordinate with production/logistics teams to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Working in collaboration with the General Manager and internal operational teams.
- Provide clients with product information, pricing, availability, and market updates.
- Preparing quotes, negotiate pricing, and finalize sales agreements.
- Monitor customer accounts, follow up on orders, and ensure ongoing satisfaction.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Track sales activity and maintain accurate records in sales systems.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and seasonal demand.
The Ideal Candidate Brings:
- Previous experience with B2B sales, preferably in seafood, food distribution, or CPG.
- Excellent communications skills. Preference will be given to candidates speaking more than one language (any language) as there is an international client base.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
- Familiarity with wholesale pricing, margins, and logistics is an asset.
- A results driven mindset with excellent organizational and time management skills.
