Recruitment Sales Consultant – Industrial and B2B

As a Recruitment Sales Consultant in our Calgary office, you’ll join a dynamic team passionate about delivering high-quality recruitment services.
We’re seeking a motivated and results-driven sales recruiter to manage a 360-desk, taking ownership of both client relationships and candidate management. This role emphasizes sales and business development within multiple B2B sectors; industrial, construction, manufacturing, and energy, as you grow your portfolio by engaging new clients while continuing to support ongoing recruitment assignments with existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with prospective industrial and B2B clients through networking, cold outreach, and ongoing market research to build a strong sales pipeline of companies that are hiring today and/or growing with future potential to hire.
- Client Management: Partner with department managers and HR talent teams to understand their hiring needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
- Candidate Sourcing: Use creative headhunting strategies to identify, attract, and engage top talent, including leveraging job boards, social media, and your personal network.
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Working a 360-desk you will manage the end-to-end recruitment process including job intake and headhunting, interviewing, offer negotiation and job placement.
- Market Expertise: Stay informed about hiring opportunities, industry trends, and labor market insights to provide consultative advice to clients and candidates.
- Collaboration: Work closely with all SSG team members to share sales leads and potential business opportunities, identify suitable candidates, and partner on search assignments to deliver exceptional service.
What You Bring
- Proven B2B sales or recruitment experience, ideally with interest in developing and managing business within the industrial, construction, manufacturing, and energy related sectors.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial sales mindset with a personal drive to exceed expectations and achieve targets to drive revenue.
- Professional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
