Projects & Engineering Lead
Our customer, a respected Alberta-based manufacturer, is seeking a Projects & Engineering Lead—a key leadership role that blends technical engineering with hands-on project and team management. This is an opportunity to step in as the right hand to the General Manager, owning all things project execution, estimating, and engineering.

What you’ll do:
- Lead design and engineering for pressure equipment, piping, and related systems.
- Drive project execution from costing and procurement to schedules, documentation, and client satisfaction.
- Develop and manage cost estimates, RFQs, contracts, and client presentations.
- Ensure safety, code compliance (ABSA, ASME), and audit readiness.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, QC, procurement, and shop teams.
What we’re looking for:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering.
- 5+ years in a manufacturing or process equipment environment.
- A blend of technical, commercial, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with design codes, stress analysis, estimating, CAD, and project controls.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a collaborative, can-do attitude.
