About Our Client:
Our client is a leading consulting services firm.
Position Scope:
Our client is currently looking for a Principal-level Consultant to contribute to the depth of expertise and business growth in its Toronto office.
Responsibilities:
Establishing strategies and developing solutions that meet client needs including:
- Total rewards strategy development and/or alignment.
- Broad-based compensation design (e.g., competitive benchmarking, salary structures).
- Incentive plan design.
- Job architecture and levelling frameworks.
- Job evaluation.
- Pay equity compliance (provincial and/or Federal).
- Develop and maintain client accounts and relationships to help drive long-term sustainable growth.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with prospective and current clients.
- Keep abreast of current market trends in the Total Rewards space.
- Contribute to the profile of the firm’s expertise, brand, and market positioning in the region via public forums (conferences, training sessions, articles, media inquiries, etc.).
- Work in a highly collaborative environment with other advisors across practices.
- Demonstrate leadership and the ability to mentor, train and develop other consultants and analysts.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to inform, influence and align senior-level clients on proposed solutions.
- Ability to lead and develop teams of consulting professionals.
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Qualified candidates should also possess and demonstrate the following:

Education and Experience:
- At least 10 years of experience in compensation consulting, or in a senior-level compensation role within an organization.
- Bachelor’s degree, or Master’s degree in Human Resources/Finance or the equivalent.
