PRICING MANAGER – IT SERVICES
The Pricing Manager is responsible for ensuring profitable delivery of non-standard IT services, emphasizing engagement management, implementation budget allocation, and effective cost management. This leadership role encompasses guiding the technical sales consulting team, managing projects, and supporting sales teams and product managers.
LEADERSHIP ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Lead and manage staff effectively, fostering a high level of expertise.

- Implement sound financial control by developing budgets, monitoring performance, and negotiating contracts for goods and services.

- Identify opportunities to enhance revenue, decrease costs, improve customer service, and boost employee engagement.
- Drive innovation in technology, product service delivery, and process improvements.
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensure financial controls for sales proposal pricing, profitability, and contract accuracy.
- Drive positive contribution income through profitable engagement management.
- Minimize risks and maximize profitability for non-standard business sales engagements.
- Develop Business Sales & Solutions engagement models, optimizing resources for maximum contribution income.
- Provide accurate financial analysis and recommendations to maximize business portfolio profitability.
- Serve as engagement prime and subject matter expert, leading integration initiatives.
- Develop financial models supporting pricing for larger, strategic customers.
- Provide financial governance and pricing support for various products and services.
- Streamline pricing support function for timely turnarounds and enable frontline decision-making.
- Coach and consult with Sales Account Teams, Product Managers, and others on new product development, solutions, and pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with sales for sales funnel development and assist in achieving revenue targets.
- Provide technical leadership with vendors for non-standard engagements, building strong relationships.
- Stay updated on technical and pricing trends, providing leadership within the organization.
- Maximize market share through professional business relationships and community presence.
- Manage all aspects of engagement projects, ensuring profitability and communicating status to executive sponsors.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Experience with financial analysis and pricing models.
- Demonstrated project management ability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Significant management experience in a competitive business environment.
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills.
- Interpersonal and negotiation skills with effective communication at all levels.
- Facilitation, planning, process improvement, and sales/service orientation skills.
- Change management experience, preferably with continuous improvement certification.
- Strong team leadership and motivation skills.
- Consultative selling skills, business acumen, and knowledge of industry trends.
