Pharmaceutical Sales Manager
Our pharmaceutical client markets and distributes products in many therapeutic areas providing innovative treatment options that improve patient’s quality of life. In this role as Sales Manager, you will lead the success of their product portfolio by managing the sales team’s performance in the region (50% travel is required). You will create and execute patient-centric business plans to deliver the sales strategy and to ensure the adoption and overall success of products. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will work cross-functionally across the organization to enhance the capabilities in the field and to create increased customer value. Responsibilities include:
- Provide daily infield sales team coaching and support to develop the team’s skills and performance within a high-performance corporate culture.
- Mentor team and conduct field sales calls to build relationships with customers and understand their needs while finding opportunities to partner and bring value to their practices.
- Conduct business reviews with team to ensure sales plans and strategies are having impact while tracking the progress of marketing messages and programs.
- Create and execute regional business plans and implement national sales strategies and programs.
- Identify and hire top sales talent and maximize performance by achieving/exceeding sales and budget targets that support the high-performance corporate culture.
- Leverage omnichannel engagement strategies to optimize sales interactions and ensure consistent messaging across digital and in-person channels.
- Work cross functionally with Marketing, Medical, Market Access, and Compliance to enable the sales team to deliver on the corporate objectives.
