PeopleSoft Techno-Functional Consultant

They are currently seeking a PeopleSoft Techno-Functional Consultant to join their team supporting enterprise financial systems and integrations. This role will work closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams to design, develop, and support PeopleSoft Financials solutions.
The Opportunity
This position will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing enterprise PeopleSoft environments. The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise combined with an understanding of business processes within financial modules.
You will collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to design solutions, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements that improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft Financials solutions across modules including GL, AP, and AM
- Develop and customize applications using PeopleTools and PeopleCode
- Build and maintain components using Application Engine, File Layouts, SQR, XML Publisher, and Application Packages
- Support system upgrades and maintenance including PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM)
- Develop and maintain technical design documentation and design specifications
- Work closely with stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver technical solutions
- Configure and support system integrations and external interfaces
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries to resolve data issues and support reporting
- Support development within Fluid UI, Tiles, and Homepage components
- Build and maintain NVision and BI Publisher reports
- Integrate PeopleSoft with third-party applications using web services
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution
- Work within established change management and release control processes
What We Are Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience with PeopleTools and PeopleSoft Financials development
- Proven experience across modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Asset Management
- Experience with Application Engine, SQR, XML Publisher, Component Interfaces, and Application Packages
- Strong SQL development and data troubleshooting skills
- Experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades and system enhancements
- Experience developing Fluid UI components
- Experience working with enterprise integrations and web services
- Strong documentation skills including technical design documentation
- Experience working with change control tools such as PHIRE or STATS is considered an asset
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional environments
