PeopleSoft FSCM Functional Lead / Project Manager

Our client, a global technology consulting and digital transformation firm, is seeking a PeopleSoft FSCM Functional Lead / Project Manager to support enterprise financial system initiatives. This role will focus on PeopleSoft General Ledger implementations, upgrades, and ongoing enhancements within complex enterprise environments.
The successful candidate will bring a strong blend of functional PeopleSoft expertise and project delivery leadership, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to drive successful project outcomes.
The Opportunity
This position will play a key role leading successful implementation, upgrades, and ongoing system support. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders while overseeing governance, project planning, and delivery execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of PeopleSoft FSCM General Ledger projects, including implementations, upgrades, and support initiatives
- Provide functional expertise across Journal Processing, Multicurrency, Allocations, Period Close, Consolidation, and Interunit accounting
- Manage project delivery across functional, technical, testing, and infrastructure teams
- Facilitate project governance including status reporting, risk management, and stakeholder communication
- Collaborate with technical teams to validate solutions within the PeopleSoft technical stack
- Support requirement gathering, documentation, and solution design
- Work within Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall delivery environments depending on project requirements
- Manage change control processes and support IT service management workflows
What We Are Looking For
- Strong functional expertise in PeopleSoft FSCM General Ledger
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end PeopleSoft FSCM projects
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across large enterprise environments
- Solid understanding of the PeopleSoft technical ecosystem including PeopleTools, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Integration Broker, nVision, and BI Publisher
- Strong experience managing stakeholders, governance meetings, and executive reporting
- Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies
- Familiarity with change control and ITSM tools such as PHIRE, STAT, or ServiceNow
- Excellent communication, documentation, and requirement management skills
