Summit Search Group is excited to be partnered with Soles in Motion, one of largest foot clinics/retail foot specialists in Eastern Canada.
We are seeking an experienced Pedorthist to join this fast paced, multi-disciplinary organization. This exceptional group offers lots of perks, including a salaried position, bonus opportunity, on-site lab for adjustments, healthcare benefits and support in terms of paperwork/administration.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing patients’ feet and lower legs by reviewing functional anatomy using range of motion, strength and functional tests
- Performing gait assessments
- Providing information and education to patients about their foot or lower limb conditions and recommending a personalized treatment plan
- Recommending and designing custom-made foot orthotics or over-the-counter devices
- Recommending appropriate footwear depending on client’s foot type and issues
- Modifying patients’ footwear to accommodate problem areas and biomechanical needs
Required Experience:
- Canadian Pedorthist Certification (required)
- 3-5 years’ experience preferred, but recent grads will be seriously considered
- 2 – 3 years’ experience with clients/patients
- Valid driver’s license
- Proven ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize
- Previous experience in a family-owned retail business preferred

- Designs orthotics through 3D scanning technology, slipper casting and/or foam impression technic
- Soles in Motion uses off-site lab services but has a small lab on-site for adjustments and modifications
- Soles in Motion offers a full retail footwear store with experienced sales staff
- Soles in Motion have bracing specialists for braces, supports, compression and medical devices to compliment the multi-disciplinary aspect of the clinic/store

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- Ped (C): 1 year (required)
License/Certification:
- Member of the College of Pedorthics of Canada (required)
