Outside Sales Representative – Remote
Our client is a trusted leader in the oil and gas industry, specializing in hauling a variety of specialized fluids to their clients across Western Canada are seeking a results-driven Outside Sales Representative to spearhead their new business development efforts.
Position Overview
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within the oil and gas sector within the Calgary region.
This is a remote role, ideal for a highly motivated and self-starting sales professional with strong industry connections and a passion for building relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the oil and gas industry ideally with a focus on fluid hauling services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including field supervisors, procurement, and operations managers.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits to understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
- Regularly report on sales activity, pipeline, and progress to management.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of outside sales experience in oil and gas or industrial services
- Ideally experience with hauling, fluid management, or related fields.
- Proven track record in new business development and territory growth.
- Strong network and understanding of the oilfield services market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
- Ability to travel regularly within assigned territory (Calgary)
