Outside Sales Representative – Building Products
Our client, a leading wholesale distribution company of non-structural wood products and supplies is looking an outside sales professional to join their team in Regina.
Tasked with the primary purpose of driving and managing sales across a diverse portfolio of accounts within the Regina territory.
Responsibilities
- Grow our business with existing customers/leads through upselling or cross selling our functional and decorative products.
- Prepare quotations to secure new orders.
- Process orders on the system to ensure they get to the customer in a timely manner.
- Achieve new business via face-to-face visits in target area, inbound/outbound calling, emailing, following up.
- Follow the sales process to achieve profitable results.
- Visits client locations periodically to ensure client satisfaction and promote ongoing contract renewal.
- Working on a KPI system to log all daily activities to achieve set weekly targets.
- Participate in trade shows, training sessions or product meetings.
Experience
- At least 1-2 years experience with any of the following: Customer Service, Inside Sales, Outside Sales, Account Management. (Preferably focusing on the Building Supplies products) but open to other relevant industry experience.
- Capable of working effectively under pressure to meet monthly and yearly targets.
