Position Scope:
This role involves overseeing core day-to-day human resources functions, including compensation management, talent management, employee engagement, and health and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Provide employees with information on group insurance and related benefits.
- Participate in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) meetings, including recording minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Collaborate with the Payroll department for seamless processing.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training processes to ensure a seamless employee experience.
- Support corporate HR initiatives and manage other organizational requests as needed.
- Manage disciplinary procedures in alignment with company policies.
- Update and maintain accurate job descriptions.
- Develop and share internal communications related to HR matters.
- Oversee workplace safety programs, including managing disability claims and WSIB cases.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- CHRP designation is an asset but not mandatory.
- 3–5 years of HR experience, ideally within retail, warehousing, and distribution sectors.
- Proficient in MS Office and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Knowledge of the US Human Resources requirements is an asset
- Ability to travel between locations within the GTA is required
- Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
