About Our Client: Our client is a leader in the industrial/heavy equipment industry.
Position Scope:
The HR Systems Analyst is responsible for the administration, support, and optimization of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). This role partners with HR, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure HR systems operate effectively, enable efficient processes, and provide accurate data for decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support HR systems (e.g., Workday, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
- Manage user access, security roles, and system configurations.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide end-user support.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and system reliability.
- Configure workflows, business rules, and system features to meet evolving HR needs.
- Gather and translate business requirements into system solutions.
- Participate in system upgrades, testing, and release management.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Design and maintain standard and ad hoc reports and dashboards.
- Support compliance, audit, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Analyze HR data to generate insights and support workforce decisions.
- Manage employee data lifecycle (hire, transfer, termination updates).
- Act as liaison between HR, IT, Payroll, and vendors.
- Provide training and documentation for system users.
- Serve as subject matter expert (SME) on HR systems functionality.
- Ensure HR systems comply with legal, regulatory, and company policies.
- Maintain audit trails, data privacy, and security standards.
Education & Experience:
- 2–5+ years of HRIS or HR Systems experience.
- Strong understanding of HR processes (e.g., employee lifecycle, payroll, benefits).
- Experience with different HRIS modules (Payroll, HR, Recruitment, etc.) of systems such as UKG, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM.
- Proficiency in reporting tools (MS Access, SQL, Excel, Cognos BI tools).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Experience with HRIS integrations.
- Experience supporting large, multi-location or hourly workforces.
- Prior experience in HRIS or Payroll systems analysis.
