Digital Marketing & Technology Manager
The Digital Marketing & Technology Manager leads Petcurean’s digital marketing strategy and marketing technology ecosystem, overseeing web campaigns, platform operations, and digital infrastructure. Collaborating with internal teams, agencies, and contractors, this role ensures seamless execution, data integrity, and a strong brand presence across all digital channels.
Grounded in data governance excellence, the Manager provides expertise and strategic direction across digital platforms, integrations, and technical SEO, with a focus on workflow optimization, cross-functional alignment, best-in-class digital production. This role delivers systems, assets, insights, and operational support that enhance awareness, trial, and loyalty for Petcurean’s family of brands worldwide.
Responsibilities
Project and Resources Management
- Support the team in managing incoming digital marketing and technical service requests, using best-in-class practices and tools in project management.
- Estimate and manage project budgets, team capacity, and technology resources, leveraging a mix of in-house talent, external partners, and platform tools to deliver efficiently
- Oversee the scoping and implementation of digital executions and collect, analyze and report on project & platform data to support performance optimizations
- Establish, negotiate, and maintain working relationships with contractors, agency partners, service providers, and external vendors.
- Establish and communicate service delivery standards to stakeholders and hold the team accountable to delivering against them.
Digital Marketing Technology Management
- Uphold global brand standards, quality, and consistency across all digital marketing platforms and executions.
- Champion data governance best practices for data integrity, privacy compliance, and reporting accuracy, and lead the development and maintenance of processes and systems
- Oversee the performance, reliability, and evolution of Petcurean’s digital infrastructure, including:
- Website development, maintenance, and optimization across global domains.
- Systems integration, infrastructure enhancements and platform upgrades.
- Bug resolution and change management coordination.
- Execution of product and content updates across digital properties.
- Deployment of campaign assets across web and email channels.
- Website analytics, reporting, and performance monitoring.
- Prioritization and scoping of new website features and enhancements.
- Lead the planning and implementation of AI-driven tools and platform integrations, ensuring alignment with marketing goals and technical feasibility.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of new websites and infrastructure improvements, including stakeholder communication, task coordination, QA, and launch.
- Drive email optimization efforts, including automation strategy, platform configuration, and performance analysis.
- Oversee the development and execution of a comprehensive SEO strategy, encompassing keyword planning, content optimization, UX enhancements, accessibility initiatives and technical SEO across all brand sites.
- Oversee the development and execution of a comprehensive Paid Search strategy, including keyword and match-type planning, integrated ad and landing page content, location and audience targeting, budget allocations, and internal execution and reporting
- Conduct global website audits and translate findings into actionable recommendations for the broader marketing team.
People Management
- Supervise and support the digital marketing team
- Ensure that all policies, procedures, and practices are followed.
- Communicate expectations on individual performance evaluations and performance management.
- Establish clear and consistent performance and productivity standards for all direct reports.
- Is accountable for safe work practices, reflecting due diligence and an understanding of relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, and promoting safety and maintaining all aspects of policies and procedures.
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what is necessary to get the job done and completes other duties as required within the same scope and level.
Qualifications
- Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant discipline
- 5+ years’ experience in a marketing and/or digital services environment; Minimum 2+ years of people management experience
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience managing relationships with Vendors and Marketing Agencies
- Technical fluency with tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, Contentful or equivalent headless CMS platform, MS Office, Adobe Suite, Mailchimp, and marketing automation tools.
- Coding experience with HTML, Java, CSS, or equivalent is considered an asset.
