Position Summary:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for leading regional sales efforts from either the Edmonton or Grande Prairie office. Reporting directly to the executive team and working closely with operations and safety leadership, this role will focus on expanding market presence, driving sales growth, and fostering long-term customer relationships throughout Western Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct regular account reviews to align solutions with customer needs.
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline with accurate forecasting.
Leadership & Strategy:
- Drive profitable growth across the region in line with annual business objectives.
- Contribute to the development of annual sales and operational goals.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement in sales and service delivery.
Safety & Compliance:
- Promote a safety-first mindset across all activities and ensure adherence to company safety policies and industry regulations.
Operations Collaboration:
- Partner with the operations team to ensure seamless execution and resource optimization.
- Travel throughout Alberta and potentially across Western Canada as needed to support client engagement and business expansion.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Proven track record in business development, ideally within oilfield services, construction, or industrial sectors.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen with the ability to manage complex sales cycles.
- Exceptional communication, customer service, and negotiation skills.
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- Proficient in CRM systems and the Microsoft Teams suite.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $110,000 – $125,000 (commensurate with experience)

Remuneration
Remuneration will consist of a base salary between $110-125K commensurate uponn experience, a competitive performance based commission structure, appropriate expenses, Company vehicle and a full benefits program
