Branch Sales Manager
Our client is one of Canada’s largest dealers of construction and agricultural equipment, operating branches across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. They serve the growing construction, agriculture, oil and gas, and road-building industries with premium equipment and unmatched service.
The Opportunity:
We are looking for a results-driven, strategic, and people-focused Branch Sales Manager to lead their northern Alberta region working out of their Edmonton branch. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a leadership position, understands the sales lifecycle, and is ready to take ownership of regional performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Strategy
- Develop and execute annual sales plans to meet and exceed branch targets.
- Lead sales team in prospecting and closing deals, including both current and conquest accounts.
- Monitor KPIs, sales performance, and pipeline health to drive revenue growth.
- Provide tools, coaching, and resources to help the sales team succeed.
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing sales professionals.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
- Manage daily activities of sales support staff and ensure strong administrative support.
Customer & Territory Management
- Act as the face of the organization for clients throughout the region.
- Build lasting relationships with key customers, resolving concerns with urgency and professionalism.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share.
Operational & Financial Oversight
- Manage branch P&L and budget to ensure profitability.
- Analyze financial reports and take proactive measures to improve performance.
- Optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand while maintaining efficiency.
- Champion corporate best practices to ensure consistent customer and staff experience.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of sales experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or management role is ideal.
- Experience in construction, industrial equipment, or related sectors is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of commission sales, margins, trade valuations, and inventory management.
- Skilled in financial analysis, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Motivated, organized, and eager to grow within the organization.
What We Offer:
Remuneration for this position will consist of a base salary of $110-120K commensurate upon experience along with a performance bonus program along with a company vehicle, cell phone/laptop in addition to a comprehensive benefit program including RRSP matching.
