Our client is the leading distributor of shipping, industrial and packaging materials to businesses throughout North America. They are looking for a full-time Bilingual Sales Account Manager to join their team based in Ottawa, Ontario.
Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include:
- Managing and growing existing accounts as well as bringing in new business within your territory
- Establishing strong customer relationships built on trust
- Providing effective business solutions at annual, on-site customer consultations, including recommendations from the organization’s catalogue
- Achieving sales goals and quotas
- Completing weekly learning and strategy meetings with leadership
- Spending Mondays in the office with your peers planning about 20 sales visits per week. Meeting face-to-face with customers Tuesday – Friday with work-life balance in mind
- Managing accounts in all industries with opportunities to travel to new markets
- Delivering legendary customer service with the help of the sales support team
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Bilingual (English / French) – 100% in both verbal and written forms
- Previous sales experience preferred, but thorough training provided
- Driver’s license and great driving record
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and presentation skills
- Frequent overnight travel to Montreal required
