About Our Client: Our client is a not-for-profit that is committed to protecting the environment through recycling programs.
Position Scope:
We are in search of an Associate Business Manager who thrives in bringing order to the dynamic environment of our client’s business. As a Business Manager, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support across various projects, departments, and directly to their President and Director of Business Management and HR.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, on site.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a wide array of administrative tasks efficiently and providing comprehensive support across various departments and projects.
- Provide high-level administrative support to the President and the Director of Business Management and HR, including calendar management, travel arrangements, schedules, and meeting coordination.
- Prepare and submit monthly expenses Through Concur.
- Corresponding with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate scheduling, project coordination, meeting documentation, and action item follow-ups.
- Assisting in scheduling appointments and extending meeting invitations, as well as actively participating in meetings by taking notes and ensuring actionable items are documented and addressed.
- Enhancing team productivity by managing email communication and streamlining inbox management.
- Develops knowledge of external stakeholders in order to enhance service and high-quality deliverables
Required Skills and Knowledge:

- Ability to quickly develop strong working relationships with executives within the business.
- Able to deal with sensitive business information confidentially and professionally
- Proactive, energetic, and works with a sense of urgency.
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a senior administrative role supporting the executive level.
- Post-secondary degree (University) required.
- Project Management skills are highly required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to travel between provinces and in Ontario – 10%
