Architectural Estimator
Our Client, A leading Western Canadian manufacturer of high-quality steel roofing, siding, trim, and custom panel systems is seeking an Architectural Estimator to join their Sales Team in Fort Macleod or Lethbridge, AB. This organization produces a wide range of premium products for commercial, residential, and institutional projects across Western Canada.
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented, technically minded professional who enjoys working closely with architects, designers, contractors, and construction professionals.
What You’ll Do
- Proactively identify and target architects, designers, and contractors through project databases and industry networks.
- Consult with design professionals to incorporate steel products into drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Review architectural drawings, tender documents, and specifications to prepare accurate and timely project estimates.
- Manage the complete commercial bid process, from identifying opportunities to final submission.
- Work with the Product Manager on engineering testing, product data, and building code compliance.
- Participate in relevant industry associations to promote product awareness and remain ahead of market trends.
- Collaborate with the outside sales team to ensure consistent customer support and messaging.
- Deliver in person presentations, lunch and learns, and training sessions across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia.
- Attend site visits during construction phases when needed to ensure proper product application.
What You Bring
- 3–5+ years of experience in architectural sales, commercial construction, estimating, or building materials.
- Post-secondary education in drafting, design, architecture, engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and commercial tender documents.
- Experience with estimating software and project databases.
- Knowledge of building codes, compliance requirements, and product testing (asset).
- Confidence presenting and delivering technical product training.
- Willingness to travel throughout Western Canada.

What you Get
- Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 base
- Bonus: Additional $20,000 annually
- Perks: Company vehicle provided
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Work Life Balance: Excellent , no evenings or weekends
