Design Gallery Associate

Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity? Do you have an eye for interior design and amazing customer service and sales skills?
Our client is seeking a Design Gallery Associate to join their team in the South Shore of Nova Scotia. The Design Gallery Associate will work with customers and contractors to manage primarily bath, plumbing and blinds projects from consultation to completion. They will develop pricing and cost estimates, preparing contracts for projects and processing customer payments, use software to create and present designs to customers, and coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure efficient project execution. The Design Gallery Associate will also perform onsite visits to customers and will maintain knowledge of current trends and new products.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience in Interior Design, as well as sales experience with bath/plumbing supply and blinds. Competency with 2020 Design would be considered an asset, and an understanding of space planning and measurements are crucial for this position. Strong communication, customer service, and time management skills are required. The ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and make adaptations to plans are also required. As site visits will be performed, a valid drivers license is needed for this position.
