About Our Client: Our client is an exciting, highly reputable Canadian organization.
Position Scope: Our client is seeking a Treasury Associate for a 6-month contract. This is a hybrid role, 3 days in office.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor aggregate cash position of the organization’s entities and manage day to day funding requirements and related cashflows.
- Manage bank accounts and prepare funding requests.
- Responsible for liaising with the bank for all risk management processes (daily and risk limits) relating to cash movements.
- Regularly update reports on current positions, future funding needs and counterparty relationships.
- Manage and track TRI, dividends and cash flows.
- Assist/manage in the administration and execution of short term investing and foreign exchange.
- Produce ad hoc analysis on topical issues related to Treasury activities.
- Continually participate in the Canadian Treasury community and further your knowledge in the Treasury field.
Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent work experience at a finance related organization.
- Minimum 5 years of operations experience in the Investment and/or Treasury fields.
- Effective time management skills and ability to multi-task.
- Detailed orientated.
- Effective communication skills (both verbally and written) with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
