Sales Representative – Industrial Services
Our client is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to support the growth of their industrial service offerings by developing strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions to clients in industrial sectors such as manufacturing, construction, energy, and infrastructure. This is a consultative sales role in which the successful candidate will work closely with customers to understand their operational challenges and recommend service solutions that deliver measurable value.
The ideal candidate has proven B2B sales experience, a strong understanding of industrial services, and the ability to manage both existing accounts and new business development.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and manage a portfolio of industrial customer accounts.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territory and industry sectors.
- Build strong relationships with purchasing managers, engineers, operations leaders, and other key stakeholders.
- Conduct cold calls to secure virtual and face-to-face meetings, and lead consultative discussions focused on understanding client needs and recommending appropriate service solutions.
- Prepare proposals and service agreements in collaboration with internal teams.
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and pipeline updates using CRM tools.
- Collaborate with operations, customer service, and technical teams to ensure successful service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in industrial services or technical solution selling.
- Experience in a consultative or solutions-based sales environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with, and a network within, industrial sectors such as manufacturing, construction, oil and gas, or utilities.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand technical service offerings and communicate value to customers.
- Experience using CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
Compensation includes a salary draw and commission structure with first-year total income potential of $125K+, along with a comprehensive benefits package including a cell phone, vehicle allowance, health benefits, and other perks.
