Content Marketing Coordinator
Summit Search Group is proud to be partnering with our client, Petcurean on this exciting role! We are looking for pet lovers with 2+ years content marketing experience to bring Petcurean’s Go! Solutions brand and marketing assets to life.
The Content Marketing Coordinator will work under the guidance of a Content & Social Media Manager, to cultivate an online community, creating engaging content, and managing social media channels to drive measurable results. The Coordinator will bring state-of-the-art knowledge about current and emerging social media and influencer marketing best practices to the role, continuously learning and evolving to better serve the team and our consumers.
Focused on executing the department’s brand and content strategy, the Coordinator will develop and implement digital content such as social media initiatives and influencer marketing campaigns. They will collaborate closely with the marketing teams to ensure creative assets are effectively utilized across the organization. This role plays a pivotal part in enhancing our organizational culture.
The Coordinator reports directly to the Content & Social Media, and maintains a strong collaborative relationship with the broader marketing team.
Responsibilities
Community Coordination
- Coordinates the execution of the marketing strategy to translate this into an effective content strategy across the digital ecosystem
- Maintains the ability to multi-task and move in-and-out of varying mindsets to support multiple user communities across a global range of initiatives concurrently
- Monitors the community in collaboration with Customer Care to ensure timely and ongoing engagement within the context of specific guidelines and rules of engagement.
- Plans and act as a frontline ambassador interacting with customers and fans in real-time on a range of platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and
- Maintains a strong online presence by participating in and helping shape conversations.
- Manage the Influencer and/or Ambassador Program, including evaluating & making recommendations for new opportunities
Content Creation
- Plans and executes content strategies and editorial calendars for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Creates and publishes high-quality and engaging content for various channels.
- Work with influencers and partners to amplify our social presence, ensuring consistent and authentic brand standards.
- Coordinates with internal and external vendors to generate photos and videos
- Demonstrates consistent brand voice by copywriting social media poststhat engage consumers.
Analysis
- Demonstrates analytic skills to create comprehensive and data-driven pre-scheduled or ad-hoc reports
- Demonstrated ability to perform in-depth content analysis to examine the significance of certain content over others and communicate how this performance impacts the overall content strategy
- Monitors and reports on media and advertising tactics using analytic skills and provides recommendations to further optimize campaigns and content.
- Maintains analytic platforms to ensure consistent tracking and accurate measurement of all relevant metrics across relevant channels
Content Marketing Strategic Support
- Review best practices, both generally and in an industry-specific sense
- Plan and manage the Influencer/Ambassador program work with key agency partners and execute all aspects of the program (SWAG, product samples, onboarding, )
- Engage in competitive audits to understand the content strategies of our competitors and what can be leveraged or improved upon
- Monitor and analyze social media trends and keep up with the changing landscape on social media
- Coordinates with other Content roles to support the execution of the global social media strategy across all channels
Partner Management
- Coordinates with external marketing resources, including influencer agencies, writers, designers, and web teams, to manage and produce marketing deliverables.
- Maintains correct positioning, messaging, and brand standards, monitoring content and managing potential PR issues.
Research & Development
- Assist with conducting research for projects as required
- Plans and undertakes market research, analyzes trends, determines needs and expectations of target markets, potential clients, projects, and industry opportunities, and recommends strategies
Other Duties
- Collaboratively develops strategies that identify how to best reach our target customer in a cost-efficient and effective way
- Participate in conferences, trade shows, and other such promotional activities, including evaluating, planning, and implementing promotional activities as deemed necessary
- Conducts additional project coordination and support duties as required
Qualifications
- Equivalent of 1-2 years of post-secondary education;
- 2+ years of direct work experience in content development, preferably within a consumer-packaged goods environment; an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
- Valid Passport
Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated knowledge across a range of social-media and influencer marketing platforms and management
- Demonstrated knowledge of social-media best practices and a portfolio of social-media writing and case studies of successful social-media projects
- Demonstrated knowledge of social-media analytics and related planning
- Demonstrated understanding of, and experience working within the context of customer and social media regulations/guidelines/requirements is a strong asset
- Effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills and abilities to write and edit within brand standards
- Highly effective prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills
- Well-developed research skills; able to gather, analyze and evaluate a variety of data
- Proven track record in creating and executing successful social marketing, digital marketing, and direct marketing programs
- Experience working with content creation and editing apps such as Capcut, InShot, or Canva
- Highly proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Knowledge and proven skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) a plus
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a dynamic and growing team
- Extremely organized with the ability to think on their feet and work under pressure and a proactive approach; always seeking new and innovative strategies and ideas with a “can do” attitude
- Motivated self-starter, able and willing to contribute thoughts and ideas with a strong attention to detail
