Sales Recruitment Consultant
Summit Search Group is a national recruitment and talent acquisition firm that specializes in placing top talent in sales, operations, and management roles with local, regional, and national organizations within a variety of industry sectors. Our Calgary branch is looking for a dynamic and innovative sales focused recruitment professional to join our team.
As a Sales Recruitment Consultant you work closely on behalf of both clients and candidates, establishing and building strong relationships, gaining a solid understanding of their needs, and ultimately negotiating win/win solutions as you close deals placing top talent in exciting new positions with great companies. You will work alongside a professional and passionate team in our downtown beltline office. SSG provides the tools, support, and rewards for success including performance-based compensation, uncapped commission plan, 3-weeks vacation, company health benefits, on-site parking, company laptop, cell phone, and more.
In this role you will:
- Achieve personal sales quota by securing new clients and by expanding business opportunities with existing SSG customers.
- Use a thorough needs-based selling approach to manage a 360-desk and close deals.
- Build relationships with hiring managers and key decision makers to gain industry knowledge and to grow referral networks as you pursue sales leads for current and future hiring needs.
- Develop a solid understanding of what companies do, who their competitors are, and understand their work culture and hiring profile.
- Headhunt top-tier talent that possess the specific skills, experience, and personality traits that match your open jobs.
- Utilize a variety of recruitment tools and strategies to network, source and connect with suitable candidates and position new opportunities that meet their career goals.
- Interview candidates and effectively evaluate their personality, qualifications, and strengths in comparison to your client’s hiring requirements and represent the best talent for hire.
- Manage the hiring process with all parties, coordinate interviews, debrief and share feedback, and always deliver excellent customer service with timely and professional follow-up.
- Close deals by negotiating job offers and terms of employment, completing references and background checks, and coordinating the onboarding process.
- Continually forge local referral networks with clients and candidates to remain top of mind for future opportunities.
