Mechanical Engineer – Heat Exchangers

What You’ll Do:
- Perform and approve mechanical design calculations for shell & tube heat exchangers and aerial coolers
- Review and sign off on engineering drawings and material requisitions
- Ensure fabrication and construction drawings meet project deadlines and standards
- Collaborate closely with shop personnel, project teams, and regulatory authorities
- Optimize designs for cost-efficiency, quality, and manufacturability
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards and procedures
What You Bring:
- 8–10 years’ experience designing heat exchangers and aerial coolers
- 5–6 years’ experience in a fabrication environment
- Eng. designation in Alberta (or equivalent)
- Proficiency with Compress, PV Elite, Codecalc, or ASPEN tools
- Deep knowledge of API, TEMA, ASME, and ANSI codes
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Compensation & Perks:
